 Albert Rauch

has over 30 years of engineering design and development experience in system integration, software engineering, process control and automation.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Drexel University with a BSEE, emphasis in control theory.  Prior to founding Rauch Systems LLC, he worked at Eurotherm International (Chessell Corporation) designing automated test systems and then as an embedded systems software engineer in product development for Honeywell in their Industrial Automation and Control division.  Taking his engineering experience to the pharmaceutical industry, he worked in Merck Research Laboratories where he designed novel automated systems and devices for research applications.

 

 

Gary S. Kath

has over 40 years of experience in engineering management and design engineering specializing in project development of custom lab instrumentation and automation equipment supporting pharmaceutical R&D.  He received his BSEE from Widener University and MSEE from Carnegie Mellon University.  In the pharmaceutical industry, he has developed a diverse set of multidiscipline engineering skills including electronic design, mechanical design, fluid systems, thermal control, automation equipment development, embedded processor circuitry and electronic and mechanical fabrication techniques.  He developed a number of first-of-its-kind laboratory instruments utilizing application of new technologies. He has 12 patents and 47 publications.
